Good Standing Requirement

CIBR will only process brokerage transfers for members who are in good standing. A member is considered in good standing when all financial obligations to CIBR are current — including dues, MLS fees, and any other amounts owed.

If you have any outstanding balance with CIBR, your transfer request will not be processed until all obligations are satisfied in full.

No fees are charged for a brokerage transfer. If you have questions about your account standing prior to submitting this form, please contact us at (217) 428-4321 or email Glenda@CIBR.REALTOR or Paul@CIBR.REALTOR.

⚠  IDFPR License Transfer — Member & Broker Action Required

Both the transferring member and the new Managing Broker must separately initiate and accept a license transfer through IDFPR (Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation) at idfpr.illinois.gov. CIBR does not transfer real estate licenses and cannot do so on behalf of members or brokerages. Your CIBR membership transfer and your IDFPR license transfer are separate processes — both must be completed.
