Primary Member

Your home board. All three levels of REALTOR® dues are paid through CIBR:

✓ NAR dues paid here
✓ Illinois REALTORS® dues paid here
✓ CIBR local dues paid here

If CIBR is your only or first REALTOR® association, you are Primary.

Secondary Member

You already hold a primary membership elsewhere and are adding CIBR.

✗ NAR dues at your primary board
✗ State dues at your primary board*
✓ CIBR local dues paid here

*Out-of-State Secondary members do pay Illinois REALTORS® dues here since their primary board is in another state.

REALTOR® Emeritus — 40+ years of continuous NAR membership. Exempt from NAR and IL REALTORS® dues but pay RPAC and IRRF. Contact CIBR staff if unsure.  MLS vs. No MLS: MLS members pay monthly (MLS fee + dues reserves). Non-MLS members are billed annually — no monthly payment, no reserve.

Prior or Current Association Membership & NRDS

Have you ever been a member of NAR or any REALTOR® Association?*

Your NRDS number is assigned the first time you join NAR or any affiliated association and never changes — even if membership lapses or you move to a different board. If you have ever held membership anywhere, we use that same number.

Please provide your NRDS number and your most recent association(s):
